KJ Maskinfabriken is founded by J.M. Kristensen and J.Th. Jepsen.

 

1961
Break-through in deliveries to the Danish meat industry.

 

1966
Order intake from export exceeds one million Danish Crowns (approximately 136.000 Euro).

 

1973
Grapha Holding AG (Müller Martini) becomes shareholder in KJ Maskinfabriken A/S.

 

1974
The first subsidiary, INAS, is established in Germany.

 

1978
Introduction of the first Loin Puller.

 

1982
Escon Electronic A/S is established as subsidiary, delivering control systems.

 

1989
Müller Martini buys all shares in KJ Maskinfabriken A/S.

 

1989
Founders J.M. Kristensen and J.Th. Jepsen retire.

 

1992
Development of the first plant with traceability.

 

1997
Industrial design is introduced as a common routine on machines and equipment.

 

1999
First full-automatic primal cutting system with Vision system.

 

2003
Order received to Europe's largest - and the world's most advanced - slaughterhouse.

 

2004
Development of full-automatic classification and sorting system with buffer store and S-curve.

 

2005
Escon Electronic A/S is merged into KJ Maskinfabriken A/S and the company’s name is changed to KJ Industries A/S.

 

2009

Danish Gammelgaard Holding take over KJ Industries A/S from Grapha Holding AG.
