Classification and sorting
With classification and sorting systems from KJ Industries, it is possible to assure consistently high quality products and optimize earnings depending on the quality of each piece of meat. Classification systems are continuously being developed and adapted to the individual customers’ requirements, and classification can be done according to for instance weight, meat percentage, fat thickness, pH values, and breed. It is possible to classify, sort and trace all meat cuts.
After classification the individual pieces of meat are sorted automatically and send to storage and despatch. |

Automatic sorting
Individual pieces of meat as well as cartons and foodtainers can be sorted in several ways. In a conventional sorting line each item is automatically sent to a destination depending on the sorting class, and then handled manually by operators.
Sorting with buffer
KJ Industries' fully automatic S-curve and buffer system allow the items to be buffered according to their sorting classes and afterwards sent to a single line for further processing or storage. KJ Industries extensive traceability system assures that every item is at the right place.
