Storage systems
KJ Industries offers single shelf storage and live storage solutions, both combinable with the KJ picking storage system. All storage systems are hygienic, easy to supervise, and assure excellent control of the storage position of each product and tray.
Efficient single shelf system
Our single shelf storage system makes it possible to store up to 25 meters above floor height – and yet makes cleaning, maintenance, supervision, and operation easy. If so wanted, trays can be stored with a low total weight, and with the Ciconia shelf lift, any tray or carton can be removed by simply indicating the relevant product number. Furthermore, trays and cartons can be inserted or taken out simultaneously, assuring high efficiency.
Trouble-free live storage
In our live storage system, trays are inserted and removed according to the first-in-first-out principle (FIFO). Cleaning platforms between the individual shelf modules and watertight, smooth-running rollers makes cleaning easy, while a flexible PC system assures excellent control and supervision of the inserting of trays and actual stock. |

Combinable picking shelf system
KJ Industries’ picking shelf system can be combined with both single shelf and live storage systems. The system automatically inserts filled trays when needed and takes empty trays to the washing machine. Manually operated transfer wagons are equipped with scale, label printer, code reader and a scale terminal showing the actual status of the picking order being processed.
Double lift cage offers optimized handling
The KJ Industries’ Ciconia shelf lift is fully automatic and combinable with both our single shelf and live storage systems. The lift handles both trays and cartons and the acceleration control makes it one of the fastest on the market. A new double lift cage increases buffer capacity by up to 50 percent, as the lift simply picks up two trays and delivers them to their individual destinations in the shelf storage system – or vice versa.
